Sierra installation problems
I tried to install OS X Sierra, but it said something about a null file so I cancelled the installation. I tried reinstalling the update, but it says that it is already downloaded. What can I do?
iMac, iOS 10

Check your Applications folder and see if the install file is there.
I have the similar problem, but don't tell me that downloaded file, which needs to be downloaded more then 54 minutes, is only 496 KB?
Something is very wrong with that update, as I have read on net at the moment ...
Sorry, I didn't wrote in previous comment:
problem installing Sierra exists here, too: failed to download, use the purchases page to try again...
( iMac, Late 2012. El Capitan)
Well, there are millions downloading Sierra so delay is expected.
When you try again, make sure you have a solid Internet connection, and enough disk space.
Also make sure your Mac is connected to wall power supply.
